Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-24
1. Operator and agreement
RealityProof is operated by Lagodish Tech, Złota 75A, 00-819 Warszawa (Wola), Poland (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms govern the RealityProof iOS application, website, public verification service, and related APIs (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The iOS application is also licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The Apple EULA governs the application licence; these Terms govern our hosted Service, proof records, subscriptions, and user content.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 and legally able to enter into these Terms. If local law requires a higher age or parental authorization, that rule applies. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
3. What the Service provides
RealityProof creates tamper-evident capture receipts for supported photos, videos, rooms, objects, and 3D artifacts. Proofs may include capture-session freshness, artifact hashes, Apple App Attest evidence, optional location, and other checks shown by the verifier. Features depend on device capability, plan, availability, and the disclosure choices you make.
4. Proofs are evidence, not legal certificates
A proof reports which technical checks passed for specified data. It does not by itself establish ownership, legal title, physical authenticity, address, condition, measurement, valuation, provenance, or the truth of a user’s description. A genuine app can still capture a screen, print, replica, staged scene, or misleading subject. You decide whether a proof is sufficient for your purpose.
5. Public verification and irreversible records
Anyone with a verify ID may query the public Verify API and receive the fields allowed by the selected disclosure level. Do not share a verify ID or disclose location, files, nonce data, or app-key details unless you accept that third parties may copy them.
If a hash or root is anchored to a public network, the hash and transaction metadata may become permanent. We can remove off-chain data we control where applicable, but cannot erase a public blockchain or copies retained independently by others.
6. Your content
You retain your rights in scans and proof artifacts you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, reproduce, transmit, and display them only as needed to provide proof creation, verification, sharing, support, security, moderation, and selected anchoring features. You confirm that you have the permissions needed to capture and disclose the people, places, objects, and content involved.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Submit fraudulent, fabricated, replayed, tampered, or unlawfully obtained captures;
- Scan people, private property, documents, or sensitive locations without permission;
- Upload illegal, exploitative, threatening, infringing, or non-consensual content;
- Use the Service to harass, defame, dox, surveil, deceive, or violate another person’s rights;
- Bypass authentication, attestation, quotas, rate limits, disclosure controls, or payment rules;
- Interfere with the Service, introduce malware, or use it in violation of law or sanctions.
8. RealityProof Pro subscriptions
RealityProof may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewable Pro subscriptions through Apple StoreKit. The purchase screen shows the current localized price, billing period, any introductory offer, and the publishing limits or other Pro features included. Store pricing and available offers may vary by country and Apple Account eligibility.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; local captures remain available without Pro.
- Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore an eligible entitlement. A stable, app-generated account token is used to associate the verified StoreKit entitlement with the app installation and attested device evidence.
- If a free trial is offered, its duration and the price charged after it ends are shown before purchase. It converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Refund requests and App Store billing disputes are handled by Apple, except where applicable law gives you additional rights against us.
Apple handles price-change notices and any consent required by App Store rules. We will not remove access already owed for a paid subscription period except where required for security, law, or a serious breach of these Terms.
9. Availability and third-party services
The Service depends on Apple, Cloudflare, Vercel, database infrastructure, SpaceComputer Orbitport, network connectivity, and supported device hardware. Outages, policy changes, technical limits, or maintenance may affect availability. Temporary storage, API quota, anchoring, and plan limits may change for future periods, but material subscription terms are presented before purchase or renewal as required by law and App Store rules.
10. Enforcement and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and manage a subscription through Apple. We may reject, hide, preserve, or remove content and suspend a device or access when reasonably necessary to address a breach, fraud, security incident, legal obligation, or risk to others. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to contact support.
11. Intellectual property
We and our licensors retain rights in the Service, software, design, documentation, and branding. Separate open-source or commercial licences may govern published code, SDKs, examples, and third-party components. No trademark rights are granted by these Terms.
12. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent file availability, compatibility with every device or marketplace, or that a proof will be accepted as sufficient evidence by a third party. Mandatory statutory warranties remain unaffected.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lagodish Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, including loss of data, profit, goodwill, tokens, funds, or business opportunity arising from the Service, third-party infrastructure, public networks, or marketplace decisions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
14. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also retain the mandatory protections and courts available under the law of your country of residence. We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the new date and provide additional notice for material changes where required. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights already accrued in a paid subscription period.
15. Contact
Questions, legal notices, and reports may be sent to support@realityproof.app or by post to Lagodish Tech, Złota 75A, 00-819 Warszawa (Wola), Poland.
