Question 1

What does RealityProof verify?

Accepted Answer

It can show that evidence came through the RealityProof iPhone app, belongs to a fresh request, and matches the file recorded in the receipt. It shows only checks available for that proof.

Question 2

Does the receipt prove the real-world claim is true?

Accepted Answer

No. It does not prove ownership, address, cause of damage, or that a scene was unstaged. It gives reviewers verifiable capture provenance to use alongside their existing decision process.

Question 3

Do users have to expose private files or location?

Accepted Answer

No. The receipt can be public while the original file and precise location stay private. A reviewer can compare a file with the receipt locally in the browser.

Question 4

How does another product integrate?

Accepted Answer

Keep the proof link with the claim, return, listing, or property record. Use the public Verify API when the checks need to appear inside another product.

Question 5

Where is the capture app?

Accepted Answer

The iPhone app, Reality Proof: 3D Scanner, is on the App Store. Capture happens on device. Public verification stays on the web.
